After the shutdown, the UPS will have all its panels and covers removed to inspect and test its various components such as AC and DC capacitors, cooling fans, printed circuit boards, and batteries. This inspection will ensure that the system is working efficiently and all the components are in good condition.
The UPS system will also be cleaned out to remove any accumulated dust or debris that may affect its performance. This cleaning will also include the removal of any bugs that may have entered the system through the air inlet and outlet vents.

After this quick function test, a battery discharge test will be carried out to test the integrity of the batteries. This test will ensure that the batteries are in good condition and are capable of providing backup power when needed.
A report will be generated detailing the results of the testing and submitted to the relevant site contact. This report will provide a clear view of the current state of the UPS system and any recommendations for maintenance or repair.
